Shannon was kind enough to show me her bebbeh pigmy goats. Finally got some goat “jumpin’ around” at the end. The music is by special request from Shannon. 🙂
So sweet! I’m glad I got to meet them.
My visit to The Woof Pack kennels, fulfilling my threats to Kiwi that I’d send her to “meet her maker” if she didn’t shape up. Hee!
Kiwi’s breeder Shannon put together a video of some of her Berners, and Kiwi is in it. 🙂
I vacuumed Kiwi just once to see how she’d like it. Turns out she loves it, and now I can’t get my housework done.
Kiwi eats in a frenzy. To combat this, I’ve gotten her a slow feeder, AND I’m teaching her impulse control by making her wait for her food until I give the “get it” command. She can wait, but sometimes her taste buds cannot.
Today marks the 2 month anniversary of me bringing Kiwi home. I’m sleep deprived and my house smells like pee, but we’re making some progress.
Thought I’d put together a few seconds of video to compare sizes. When Kiwi came home, she was smaller than Murphy. Now, Kiwi is about triple Murphy’s size.
Kiwi (14 weeks) and Murphy after a bath.
After Christmas we got bitterly cold temps and some snow. Having only a week of housebreaking under her belt, I worried that Kiwi’s housebreaking would be derailed. But she ended up loving the snow. Murphy loves the snow too, but he gets cold paws and instead of coming in like any dog with good sense would do, he tries to lift his paws. One time he got both back paws off the ground and was standing on his front paws with his ass in the air, but I didn’t get that on video. 😦
So here’s two dogs playing in (and one dog trying to levitate above) the snow.
I tried to capture the “flippy thing” she does with her tongue when she’s waiting for her food. 🙂
