It wasn’t his first bath – the breeder had bathed him before. But it was his first bath since coming home in November. Overall it was a success. However, I strongly suspect that my parents chickened out halfway through, because the puppy in the “done” photo doesn’t look very wet to me.
“AIIGGGHHH! I’LL START CLEANING MYSELF WITH MY TONGUE I PROMISE! JUST LET ME OUT!”
“Torture me all you will. I will not talk! Name: Sparky Chewbacca. Rank: Puppy Brigade. Serial number: um, 6! And that’s all you’re getting out of me!”

That is too cute. Even though he doesn’t look too happy, I bet he was a good boy. Sniffffffff. He even smells good.
What kind of camera does your parents have? Their camera takes such good pictures. I don’t take many pictures of my pups because I get green eye even if I have the “red eye” feature on. It drives me crazy.

Hey Sparky, Sparky here! I like your name!!!
Your humans really treated you nicely – – my mama just threw us in the tub as wee puppies, and scooped water onto our heads not caring if it went into our eyes and up our noses! (Of course, now we love water!)

Doesn’t Mary Lou know not to wear white when you wash the dog?

They were so gentle with him. My husband just drowns ours and scrubs them.

Dog care had always been up to me for most of our lives, so my parents aren’t used to giving care without me around to scream “YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!” I think they did pretty well. ๐

Sparky you are still so cute even wet! I hope your first bath at home wasn’t too tramatic!
I’ve tagged you for a game. Hope you have fun!

Hi Sparky! I love your name, he he. You’re really cute! I see you don’t like baths either? Ugh, they’re horrible, aren’t they?
Hope you’re having a good week so far,
Sparky

Awwww, Sparky you are so cute!! That look in your eyes that said, ‘Help, somebody rescue me” was priceless. It made me want to come rescue you from your torture myself.
It’s neat that you can fit in the kitchen sink, too. I take up most of my parent’s bathtub when I get a bath, and I’m still a puppy too.
Tell mom to use a blow dryer on you (on low). It feels wonderful!!! I love the warm air, and I feel really pampered.
